The EAN Biannual Autumn Meeting will take place in Warsaw, Poland, on 21–23 October 2026, bringing together EAN members, partners and invited experts from across Europe.
The programme will combine professional discussions on current challenges in long-term care, a social care facility visit, networking opportunities and a joint dinner.

Preliminary Agenda

The programme will cover topics including:

  • EU affairs, staffing levels and resilience of the long-term care sector;
  • Digitalisation 2.0 and artificial intelligence in long-term care;
  • housing and living environments for older people;
  • long-term care and senior policy in Poland;
  • workforce, labour mobility and working conditions;
  • salaries and wages in European social services;
  • presentations and updates from EAN members.

External contributions will include:

  • Ms. Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz – long-term care and senior policy in Poland;
  • Mr. Hans Dubois, Eurofound – working conditions, care services and current challenges in Europe;
  • Mr. Stefan Domonkos, European Labour Authority – workforce, labour mobility and long-term care.
  • Ms. Lotte Kejser - International Labour Organization

Participation Fee

Each EAN member organisation is entitled to one participant free of charge.
A participation fee of EUR 100 will be charged for the second and each additional participant from the same organisation.

Accommodation

Participants may book accommodation individually at Novotel Warszawa Centrum, where the working meetings will take place.
The hotel offers a 10% discount on the Best Available Rate, subject to availability. Reservation requests should be sent to H3383-RE@accor.com using the promotional reference “EAN General Assembly”.
The discount may be requested up to seven days before arrival, depending on room availability. Early booking is recommended.
